CIAS 2009 Airshow Report

The 2009 Canadian International Airshow (www.cias.org), still has one day left (Monday) and some of my blog readers might be interested in what has been monitored. Airshow report courtesy of the ScanOnt team from Canada.(It's a Yahoo email group.)

Horsemen P-51s:

Blue Angels:
139.8125 Air-to-ground
237.800 Solos
275.350 Diamond
284.250 Box
(No startup/apron frequencies noted since this is an off-airport show)

F-16 and F-22 Demos:
376.025 Air-to-ground and also air-to-air while co-ordinating hand-off from one display to another

USAF Heritage flight (F-16, F-22, 2xP-51s):
123.600 (one of the discrete air show frequencies)

Snowbirds:
246.500 This is unusual - it is not a new frequency for them but they have been on 272.100 or 116.00 at every Canadian show I've been to for at least 10 years
